Perilla Seed Oil is obtained from the seeds of herbs of the genus Perilla. Perilla oil is a very rich source of the omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Researches show the ω-3 series of unsaturated fatty acid such as alpha-linolenic acid has unique effect in building biomembrane structures and functions. Alpha-linolenic acid will create DHA, DPA and EPA after it enters human body under the effect of enzymatic. Perilla seed oil contains a large amount of alpha-linolenic acid.
