INDICATIONS
Iron sucrose is indicated for parenteral treatment of iron deficiency in cases whereby oral iron preparations cannot provide for sufficient supplementation such as:
- patients who cannot tolerate oral iron therapy
- patients who cannot sufficiently absorb orally administered iron
