膽紅素具有多種藥理作用，是人造牛黃的主要原料。藥理實驗表明，對W256腫瘤有較好的抑制作用，b腦炎病毒的滅活率和抑制指數(shù)是去氧膽酸和膽酸的1-1.5倍。它仍然是一種有效的治療肝臟疾病的藥物,在不破壞肝組織的情況下,新細胞增殖的作用,可以治療疾病,如血清肝炎、肝硬化。此外,膽紅素有鎮(zhèn)靜、鎮(zhèn)痛、退熱劑、抗高血壓、促進紅細胞再生等功效。 Bilirubin has many pharmacological effects and is the main raw material of artificial bezoar.
